Tua Pek Kong Temple

We had a half day trip at Tua Pek Kong Temple on 19th April 2012. It is situated at Pasir Panjang, Perak. Instead of having the famous seafood there, we took this opportunity to eat this delicious roasted pork. We bought it from the Pusing market. The meat is tender and the skin is crispy, the aroma is unforgetable..ok, there goes my diet! :P

The girls were excited over the short trip, so looking forward since the day before..hehehehe..

After having our delicious breakfast at Pusing, we continued our journey to Pasir Panjang. Reaching there, we were attracted by the main entrance. Oh my, everything was in granite! Amazing!

Then, we had a photo session with our own Chinese horoscope. This reminded me of Penang trip :P

Around 90 deities and we spotted a few big fishes. Of course, the girls were overwhelmed.

My beautiful daughters!

NingNing found a little mushroom! The girls loved watching the tortoise eating.

The 11 giant statues facing the SEA!! It was constructed by CHINA!!!

Water from the Kuan Yin statue. We brought some home to bathe for good health and safety. Some said that use the water to bathe your car plate number so that it will be at the top in 4D! Hahahaha..weird thinking!

Can see that hubby enjoyed the trip too!

We went into the Taman Monyet, kinda disappointed as we thought that it will be a long walk and no monkey in sight. In addition, if the concrete path changed into wooden path (just like Tanjung Piai), it will be nicer..xixixixixi...Somehow, at least we had a nice sea view!

And we had the opportunity to see the fish and crab! Both girls were amazed as the fish could walk on land. We saw a crab with a pincer bigger than another!

Then, we had a break, eating ice-cream!!

What really attracted me was the water-rolling game and this "Tiger" deity! I'm still puzzled to why the people there praying to the "tiger"??

After a couple of hours spending there, we decided to head home. Driving through the "Safety Bridge", we went home happily! Hopefully to revisit here after a couple of year!
